Dr Chris Yong

Dr Yong obtained a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS with Honours) from the University of New South Wales in 2010. He completed his anaesthetics training in the Sydney Local Health District before completing his Anaesthetics Fellowship at St George Hospital. He is a Fellow of the Australian and New Zealand College of Anaesthetists.

Dr Yong continues to work at two major tertiary hospitals in Sydney, namely, St George Hospital and Concord Hospital, as well as several private hospitals across Sydney, providing anaesthetic services for a wide range of elective and emergency surgery. In addition to his clinical work, he continues his role in medical education and simulation training at St George Hospital, with a focus on improving patient safety and teamwork within the operating theatre environment.
