Dr Gerhard Labuschagne

Dr Gerhard Labuschagne completed his undergraduate medical studies at the University of Pretoria, South Africa in 1992, after which he moved to Canada to practice as a general practitioner in rural Manitoba for 3 years.

He returned to South Africa to specialise in Anaesthesia in 1996, followed by private practice in Johannesburg before relocating to Australia in 2005.

Since moving to Australia Dr Labuschagne has been a consultant anaesthetist at The Canberra Hospital for 2 years, and is currently working at St George Public and Private Hospitals, Kareena and Dubbo Private Hospitals.

Dr Labuschagne’s practice includes cardio-thoracic, paediatric, obstetric and general anaesthesia.
