Dr Laurence Boss

Dr Laurence Boss graduated from the University of London in 2001. He completed fellowships in obstetric anaesthesia, neuro-anaesthesia, and in simulation-based education. Laurence was a consultant at Guys and St Thomas’ Hospitals, a tertiary referral centre in London, before moving to Australia in 2016 with his wife and 3 children. 

Dr Boss provides care for patients across a number of private hospitals in Sydney and is also a Staff Specialist at St George Public Hospital. He uses the knowledge and skills he has gained over the last fifteen years to anaesthetise patients for a wide range of elective and emergency surgery. Laurence has considerable experience in simulation-based education and regularly coordinates teaching programmes that help to promote teamwork and improve patient safety in the operating theatre.
