Dr Tim Cooper

Dr Cooper obtained a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS, Hons 1) from the University of New South Wales in 2011 and undertook anaesthetic training in the Illawarra before completing a fellowship in Anaesthetic Education and Simulation at St George Public Hospital. For several years Tim was a consultant at St George, Canterbury and Liverpool Hospital – one of Sydney’s largest trauma and tertiary referral hospitals.

Dr Cooper provides care for patients across a number of private hospitals in Sydney and is a Consultant Anaesthetist at St George Public Hospital where in addition to clinical work he continues his role in medical education and simulation training. Dr Cooper anaesthetises for a wide range of elective and emergency surgery and is passionate about patient safety and improving teamwork in the theatre environment.
