Dr David Goodie

Dr Goodie has been a specialist anaesthetist for 32 years. He is a founding member of the Alliance Anaesthetics group, and a medical graduate of the University of NSW. Having trained as a specialist in Sydney, he was appointed as Instructor in Anesthesia at Harvard University in Boston, USA.

He now works in private practice with appointments to hospitals in the southern metropolitan area and lower north shore of Sydney. He is a past Chairman of Anaesthetics at Hunters Hill Private Hospital. His areas of expertise includes anaesthesia for bariatric (weight loss), cardio-thoracic and major plastic and reconstructive surgery.

Dr Goodie also contributes his time to the charity work of “Orthopaedic Outreach” by working in Lautoka, Fiji, providing professional anaesthetic services for advanced hand surgery and teaching of local doctors.
